Q:  How do I schedule a program?

 

A:  You can find the Program request form on this web site and make a request from there.

Q:  Is there a fee for the program?

 

A:  Koorsen Fire & Security is our primary Corporate Sponsor.  If there are expenses that we are not able to cover that we would like you to cover that will be discussed with the requesting party on a request by request basis. The Kasey Program is a non-profit organization (501c3). Donations are always welcomed.

Q:  What age range is the Kasey Program designed for?

 

A:  The Kasey Program is designed to reach and teach preschool through 6th grade.

Q:  What is the length of a program?

 

A:  The length of the program varies from 30 minutes for preschool to 45 to 50 minutes for a school convocation/assembly

Q:  What do I need to provide for a program?

 

A:  You can click on the site requirements to see what is needed at your facility.  Please discuss any variations that you may need.  Many times acceptions can be made.

Q:  Do you travel outside of your local area?

 

A:  The Kasey Program travels nationally.  Some areas we are scheduled in at certain times.  Other areas we schedule when we are requested.  You can also contact your closes Koorsen Branch to find out when we will be in your area at 1-(888) KOORSEN

Q:  Do you use real dogs?

 

A:  Yes, we travel with 2 to 3 female black Labrodor Retrievers

Q:  When did the Kasey Program start?

 

A:  We started in 1995

Q:  How many children has the Kasey Program taught?

 

A:  The Kasey Program has taught more than 3 million people, mostly children about fire & life safety.  We currently teach more than 400,000 annually in more than 400 programs annually

Q:  Has the Kasey Program saved any lives?

 

A:  As a fire prevention program it can be difficult to show a life saved since we are trying to prevent the death or injury, but the program can show 15 lives saved that we've been a part of.
